In the last fiscal year, the United States increased its revenue by 49% in military equipment sales to foreign governments, ending 2022 with US$205.6 billion in revenue.
The data was provided by the US State Department on Wednesday, 25.
Among the top sales are modern F-15 fighter jets, Multi-Mission Surface Combatant ships, and the all-new M1A2 Abrams tanks.

Some of the sales destinations were Indonesia (US$13.9 billion in fighters), Greece (US$6.9 billion in ships), and Poland (US$6 billion in heavy armor).
Foreign governments can make purchases of these types of equipment through direct commercial sales, negotiated between a country and a company, and through foreign military sales, in which a government contacts the Defense Department at the US Embassy in its capital city.
The companies responsible for this type of negotiation are General Dynamics Corp (Abrams tanks), Boeing (F-15 fighters), and Lockheed Martin Corp (ships).
Both sale and purchase methods require US government approval to be confirmed.
