Brazil’s mineral production falls 9% in first half, says Ibram

Brazilian mineral production fell 9% to 441 million tons in the first half of this year compared with the same period in 2021, according to data released Wednesday by the Brazilian Mining Institute (Ibram).
The sector’s revenues fell 24% to R$113.2 (US$21) billion between January and June.
