Peru surpasses 10 million vaccine doses administered to its population

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Peru has now surpassed 10 million vaccines administered to its population, mainly from Pfizer and Sinopharm, since the immunization campaign began last February, the Chief Executive announced on Thursday, July 15.

Interim president Francisco Sagasti shared on Twitter his "joy, enthusiasm and gratitude to those who made it possible to secure vaccines and their administration."

"Their effort is rewarded with this figure that gives us #ConfidenceAndHope," Sagasti added, after reporting the goal of 10 million doses administered.
