Brazil’s Attorney General appeals to Supreme Court over vaccine passport enforcement

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Federal Attorney General Bruno Bianco Leal has requested clarifications and corrections to what he considers "material errors" in Justice Luis Roberto Barroso's decision, making the vaccine passport mandatory to enter Brazil, in an appeal lodged on Monday, December 13, at the Federal Supreme Court (STF).

The Attorney General considered in his request the "need to protect the right to citizenship of Brazilians and foreigners residing in Brazil who intend to return from abroad."
