Netflix begins shooting “Togo,” its first film set in Uruguay, directed by Israel Adrián Caetano

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In a statement, streaming giant Netflix announced the start of its first feature film set in Uruguay and said that Caetano, also director of films "Un oso rojo" (2002) and "Crónica de una fuga" (2006), will be the project's executive producer along with Luis Ara and Ignacio Jaunsolo, from Trailer Films and Ska Films companies.

The story will focus on Togo, the main character played by Alonso (known for his role as 'El Pollo' in the series "Okupas"), a car caretaker who must defend his territory - and the neighbors in the area - against threats . . .
