Members of the São Paulo Forum meet in Venezuela for the tenth anniversary of Chavez’ death

Former Cuban President Raul Castro traveled to Venezuela this Saturday on the occasion of the acts of homage to Venezuelan tyrant Hugo Chavez, who passed away ten years ago.

Castro has been received at the Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetia, on the outskirts of Caracas, by the sectoral vice president for Science, Technology, Education, and Health, Gabriela Jimenez.

Castro was accompanied by Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ramiro Valdés, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez.

Also arriving in Venezuela this Saturday was former Bolivian President Evo Morales and the presence of former Honduran President Manuel Zelaya, members of the São Paulo Forum, the leftist network that seeks to destabilize the rule of law and democracies in the region, has been confirmed.
