Brazil’s Federal Police website is hacked and goes offline

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Federal Police website suffered a hacker attack on Tuesday night, December 14, and went offline. The Lapsus$ Group, behind the attack on the Ministry of Health's website and systems last Friday, commented on the Federal Police website's breach, but did not specify if it was responsible for this new attack.

"RIP PF," the hackers wrote earlier in a message group on the Ministry of Health's website, using the acronym for "rest in peace." On Monday, Lapsus$ posted in this group that the Federal Police website "does not seem to be working anymore . . .
