Brazil: Lula will demand proof of vaccination from those who work at the Planalto Palace

On the morning of Monday (10), President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) said he would demand vaccination cards from all people who work at the Presidential Palace or who wanted to have audiences with him.

The declaration was given during a meeting with ministers to celebrate 100 days in office.

“We still have a lot of people who don’t like democracy impregnated here.”

“By the way, Nísia, afterward, I want to talk to you because I have decided that no one who does not have a vaccination card will work in this Palace.”

“This applies even to the hearings.”

“Demand vaccination cards to learn to respect others if you don’t respect yourself,” said the petista.

“A person may even want the right to get sick but has no right to transmit his disease to another person.”

“And that is why we have to be tough.”

“And I will take this decision to demand, speaking in front of my Health Minister, that here in this palace, only those with a vaccination card will work and will only enter,” added Lula.
