Virgin Atlantic is flying for the first time to South America

Virgin Atlantic is flying for the first time to South America. The airline starts ticket sales on Sept. 6 for flights from São Paulo to London.

Starting May 13, 2024, round-trip tickets will start at $693. The nearly 12-hour flight will be on a Boeing 787-9.

The airline is partnering with Latam Airlines for this route, making traveling to London easier for people from all over Brazil.

Passengers can earn and use Virgin Points from the Flying Club loyalty program and also fly with other airlines in the Skyteam alliance.

Travelers from São Paulo to London can connect to other cities worldwide at Terminal 3, including Tel Aviv, Mumbai, Delhi, and Shanghai.

This is an important step for Virgin Atlantic as it grows its network worldwide.

The partnership with Latam Airlines is a strategic move that benefits both airlines and their passengers by making travel more convenient.

It makes it easier for people to travel between Brazil and the UK, two economically important countries.

Also, it shows Virgin Atlantic’s dedication to giving its customers more travel options all over the world.

In July, the Brazilian aviation authority, Anac, approved Virgin Atlantic, a UK-based airline, to conduct flights between Brazil and the UK.

In addition to Virgin Atlantic, Anac recently granted Arajet, a Dominican Republic budget carrier, to conduct operations within Brazil.
