The quiz events feature four to ten rounds of questions about Brazilian and International general knowledge. Teams of two to six players compete to answer the most questions for a weekly prize.
Before Quiz Night Rio, Quizmaster Oracle Stephen successfully lead the event in Natal,RN for over two years.
So, assemble your teams and get ready for two hours of trivia, socializing, and fun. Charge is R$10 per person to play tonight.

Matriz Live Sessions with Pedro Pirata, Peixe Voador, and Montanha Russa (Botafogo)
The weekly ‘Matriz Live Sessions,’ were originally one of the first musical programs held at Casa da Matriz, one of the oldest music venues in Rio. The sessions have returned now to help bring some rock’n’roll to a somewhat inactive weeknight. Pedro Pirata, Peixe Voador, and Montanha will perform live for the sessions tonight.

Tuesday nights are all about jazz at Lapa’s Leviano bar and tonight the event will welcome special guest, Nova Lapa Jazz. Additonally Leviano is now hosting Happy Hour from 5PM to 9PM on Monday through Thursday nights. Promotions include a bucket of three 600ml beers (Bohemia or orignal) for R$22 and dose dupla (two for one) caipirinhas for R$11.90.

Language exchange – Lapa Irish Pub (Lapa)
Before Quiz night Rio tonight at Lapa Irish Pub, it’s time again for the Portuguese/English language exchange. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired up with native Portuguese speaker at tables. The pairs will then speak English for 5 minutes followed by Portuguese for 5 minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner. It’s both fun and educational and the R$10 entrance cost includes free food.
