Sunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Bruno Sales and Bruno Ribas lead a group of friends as they play their blend of samba at the very unique venue Favellas, located in the heart of Lapa. Bruno Sales is the nephew of pagaode star Reinaldo. Alongside friend and fellow musician Bruno Ribas, the two formed the band out of their love for Brazilian music.
Favellas is a wonderfully new venue which celebrates the characteristics of Rio de Janeiro, by simulating the actual favellas that surround this beautiful city. From clotheslines hanging overhead to the ambiance of an actual slum, the venue not only honors the look and aesthetic of the slums, but also the culture. Enjoy tasty snacks and a full bar and musical program, all designed to celebrate the originality of this great city.
