Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight Rio de Janeiro is in for a special treat as American DJ and legend DJ Nu-Mark makes a rare appearance at Studio RJ, one of Rio’s top live music venues.
Known for his famous cuts and chops with globally known Jurassic 5, DJ Nu-Mark has set the world on fire with his incredible sets. Despite being one of the top DJs of American hip-hop, there are no noise barriers with his sets, which range from rap to rock, funk, soul, reggae, afrobeat, electronic, Latin, and even Brazilian. Record collector and renowned producer, in 2012, Nu-Mark released his first solo album, the highly praised, Broken Sunlights, which features guest appearances from the likes of Aloe Blacc, Charles Bradley, Quantic, A-Skillz and many others.

Otto returns to Circo Voador to promote his latest album, The Moon 1111. His new works are influenced by Guy Montag, a character from “Fahrenheit 451.” The album is reminiscent of Pink Floyd with some psychedelia, but still maintains the flare of Brazilian music.
