Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – October is also Oktoberfest time in Tijuca, as Food Truck Carioca opens today its own version of the traditional Germany party from Munich.

Tijuca’s Oktoberfest will offer a complete line up with music, beer and food until this Sunday, October 21st. Today, DJ Renato Maciel will be spinning rock music in the venue from 7PM.

Besides the usual homemade burgers and Brazilian dishes, there will be typical German food, like sauerkraut and bratkartoffeln, and artisanal labels like Biergarten TapHouse, São Bartolomeu Bier Truck and Beer Park Point Cervejeiro, all inspired in the German Beer School.
