Researchers say 80% of officially Covid-related deaths in Germany were due to other causes

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The director of the independent health research institute IGES in Berlin, Dr. Bertram Häussler, says that 80% of the Covid-19 deaths in Germany reported by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) were likely due to other causes. There is a lot of misinformation circulating on social media about the futility or dangerous side effects of Covid-19 vaccines.

“We have found that in a good 80% of the Covid deaths officially reported since the beginning of July, the underlying infection occurred more than five weeks ago, so it must be assumed that [the virus causing] Covid was not the actual cause of death,” Dr. Häussler said in an August 31 interview with German media outlet 24 vita.

The medical research team led by Dr. Häussler is relying on studies conducted since August 2020 to monitor the pandemic. Dr. Häussler postulates that there will be no “mass deaths” in the future, despite rising infection numbers.

In Germany, about 3.8 million people have survived Covid-19, and mathematical calculations show that about 100 die each day from the usual causes of death.

“It now happens that these cases are attributed to Covid-19 infection, as reported by the health department months ago,” Häussler explains. He adds, “It could simply be an elderly person who was infected but has now died of heart failure.”

Dr. Häussler’s team uses and classifies data that the RKI receives daily from the 379 health departments. This allows researchers to assign an infection date to each Covid death.

For Dr. Häussler, the usual mortality statistics from other sources are increasingly skewed. That’s why he says, “More deaths have been reported than were actually caused by Covid.”

In addition, Dr. Häussler points out that the RKI is aware of the inaccuracy of its data and is doing nothing to correct the situation. “But they want to make sure that no Covid deaths are missing from the statistics. The mass dissemination of such reports is increasingly skewing mortality statistics.

Twitter user Kristof Jahn (@kfjJahn) pointed out that WHO has also changed the criteria so that people who had died from other causes are now reported as Covid-19 victims.

“Last year, at the beginning of the Corona panic, WHO also changed the rules for issuing death certificates, which were adopted in Germany,” @kfjJahn wrote. He added, “For example, anyone who was terminally ill with cancer and got Covid, the latter was registered as the cause of death at the time of death.

This erratic use of statistics reinforces skepticism about mandatory vaccination, which is one of the most widely noted consequences of Covid at present.

At the same time, the percentage of vaccinated people who die from Covid makes the unvaccinated even more hesitant and even more reliant on their own natural immune systems.

Recently, it was reported that two-thirds of people who died of the Delta variant in the United Kingdom had previously been vaccinated with at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, according to Public Health England on August 6.

The United Kingdom is not the only country to see an increase in infections and deaths among those injected with the Covid vaccine, as a similar pattern has been observed in Israel, according to Life Site News.

SOCIAL MEDIA

According to Crowdtangle, a service that analyzes reach on social networks, the post generated more than 60,000 interactions on Facebook alone by Wednesday morning. Accordingly, there were more than 10,000 comments there, and it was also shared by more than 18,000 profiles or pages.

Among them is FDP (liberals) politician Wolfgang Kubicki, who writes that if these figures prove to be true, it would be “another blow to the credibility” of the RKI.

Several AfD members (right-wing populists) of the Bundestag also shared the news and wrote that it would be a scandal if these figures were true.

Since the pandemic outbreak, they said, so many numbers have been twisted to create panic and fear. The report is also causing great discussion and a lot of controversy.

The RKI stated on request that it had not been involved in the evaluations of the study and therefore could not comment on the results.
