Sofía Montiel de Afara, Paraguay’s Minister of Tourism, met with her Dominican counterpart, David Collado, during the 118th meeting of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
Montiel also met with Arajet officials and the Vice Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic to establish future actions and advance in the processes required to establish the direct air route between Punta Cana and Asunción.
Arajet acknowledged its interest in operating with Paraguay, stressing the importance of a strategic alliance with the Dominican Ministry of Tourism, the Paraguayan Senatur, and the National Directorate of Civil Aeronautics to articulate the exchange of the tourist offer of the two countries.
