Air Europa increases frequency to Paraguay

Spanish airline Air Europa has expanded its frequency to Paraguay starting this week.

The airline, based in Llucmajor, Mallorca, and at Madrid-Barajas Airport, now offers a daily flight between Madrid and Asunción.

This is the first time the landlocked South American country will be connected to Europe with a non-stop daily flight, Air Europa said in a press release.

Air Europa stressed that this additional flight would help the company reach pre-pandemic levels.

In the current year, the company plans to operate more than 700 flights – 35% more than in 2019, with an increase of 38% in seats offered.

This increase in frequency is in line with the airline’s expansion and growth plan.

Once they arrive in the Spanish capital, passengers traveling from Asunción can access more than 30 European and domestic destinations offered by Air Europa.
