Argentina will not break off relations with Nicaragua, but demands respect for human rights

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - After the elections in Nicaragua, where President Daniel Ortega was reelected, Argentina called for "dialogue and democratic coexistence" in that country. In this way, it joined the claims of the United Nations Commissioner, which expressed its "concern" for the situation of the detained opposition leaders, demanding "respect for the human rights of all the population" of that nation.
