Lusophone exports to Macau increase by 59.9% in the first semester

According to official data released today, merchandise exports from Portuguese-speaking countries to Macau increased by 59.9% in the first semester of the year compared to the same period in 2022.

The Portuguese-speaking countries exported goods worth 754 million patacas (US$90 million) to Macau, as reported by Macau's Statistics and Census Service (DSEC).

On the other hand, Macau's exports to Portuguese-speaking countries amounted to only 490 thousand patacas (US$60 thousand), showing a decrease of 43.7%.
