Lula arrives in Portugal for meeting with Marcelo Rebelo

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) arrived in Portugal at 6:35 am this Friday (21), Brasilia time - 10:35 am, Lisbon time.

He will stay in the country until Tuesday (25). Then, the Brazilian leader will go to Madrid, Spain.

Lula and first lady Janja left for Lisbon at 10 pm on Thursday (20). The president anticipated the trip by one day. The reason for the change was not informed by the Palácio do Planalto.
