Brazil elections 2022: Lulistas thinking about not voting are twice as many as Bolsonaristas

Then he ticked the answers to vote in the first round of the presidential election.
Of the voters unsure if they would vote, 49% would vote for Lula da Silva, while 22% would vote for Bolsonaro.
Among citizens sure they will vote, 43% say they will vote for Lula da Silva and 40% for Bolsonaro.
Regarding voting intentions among the general population, Lula da Silva is at 43% versus 37% for Bolsonaro in the first round simulation.
The figures show an asymmetry between the two candidates’ voters regarding their intentions to vote on October 2.
They show a difference in commitment between Bolsonaro’s supporters (more enthusiastic) and Lula da Silva’s supporters (more hesitant).
A close election like the current one can make all the difference.
The poll shows that 87% of respondents will leave their homes to vote on October 2.
Only 2% say they will not vote. Those who may go but are not sure are 10%.
Respondents’ answers indicate that abstention in Brazil will be low in the 2022 elections.
It should be noted, however, that the question measures voters’ perceptions about the possibility of voting, not the behavior itself.
In Brazil, voting is mandatory, and many prefer not to disclose their intention not to vote.
