LOT charter flights Warsaw-Salvador: promoting Polish-Brazilian tourism

Beginning on the 29th of October, Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT, operating a Boeing 787-9, will conduct more than 20 charter flights from Warsaw, Poland to Salvador, Brazil.

Vinci Airports, the airport concessionaire in the capital city of Bahia (SSA), announced this initiative, alongside the Ministry of Tourism and a Polish tour operator.

It is expected that 6,500 individuals will avail themselves of this service, which will be available until the 7th of April, 2024.

Castle Square is full of tourists with King Zygmunt III Waza column and buildings of the Old Town in the background.

Maurício Bacelar, Bahia’s Tourism Minister, expressed that the charter flights are a stepping stone to regular connections they aim to establish.

Polish tourists are eager to explore Bahia’s attractions, with confirmed reservations in Salvador hotels and resorts along the Costa dos Coqueiros.

LOT, the largest Polish airline headquartered in Warsaw, and based at the city’s Frédéric-Chopin Airport, owns seven aircraft of the model that will be conducting the flights to Brazil, each no older than five years and can accommodate up to 294 passengers.
