The private military company Wagner Group, based in Russia, confirmed the closure of its main facility in Molkino, Krasnodar region.
This announcement, made through a Telegram channel associated with the group, signified their relocation to undisclosed locations.
The termination of the Molkino base will officially occur on July 30th.
Additionally, the Belarusian research project Gayun, which tracks military developments in Belarus, reported the recent arrival of a large convoy of the Wagner Group near Osipovichi.
This relocation is part of a broader development as Belarus confirmed the presence of Wagner Group instructors within its borders.
This follows an agreement struck post an unsuccessful challenge to Russian military leadership on June 24. Wagner Group personnel have commenced training local troops in Belarus.
Earlier this week, Belarus ratified a pact with Russia for the establishment and functioning of joint military training centers.
