On Friday, the private military company known as Wagner Group initiated a rebellion against the Russian Army to remove the country’s military command.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the militia leader, alleged that Russian military leaders had attacked one of their military installations, claiming a significant loss of life among their ranks.

The Russian government promptly responded, declaring that Prigozhin’s claims were unfounded and amounted to a deliberate attempt to spread misinformation.

Following intervention by Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko, a ceasefire agreement was mediated between President Vladimir Putin and Yevgeny Prigozhin on Saturday.

As a result, the mercenaries temporarily halted their attacks on Russia. Social media videos emerged, providing glimpses into the ongoing conflict.

Belarus reported that Prigozhin had agreed to withdraw his forces, including those en route to Moscow, to prevent further bloodshed.
