Arrascaeta’s manager won’t guarantee the player will stay at Flamengo

De Arrascaeta, the big name of Flamengo and considered by many the best player in Brazilian soccer, could leave Flamengo after this year’s World Cup. The player’s manager, the Uruguayan number 10, has not guaranteed the athlete’s stay for next season, although he admits that Arrasca is happy in Rio de Janeiro.

At Flamengo, Arrascaeta has a contract until the end of 2026, and a few months ago, he extended his contract with the Rio club, becoming one of the highest-paid players in the Flamengo squad.

The player, guaranteed for the 2022 World Cup, could leave Brazil and go to Europe or another soccer center, as his agent has not given any guarantee that he will stay.

“Giorgian is comfortable at Flamengo, people love him, he is the best foreigner in the Brazilian championship. We will Cup if he stays or after the World Cup goes,” said Daniel Fonseca.

EUROPE?

If he leaves Brazil, the player will probably move to European soccer. The good games the player has made in Brazil have long been the target of looks from European soccer, although he currently has no offer or contacts.

In the old continent, the name of jersey 14 was recently praised by the Spanish press, suggesting that the future could be La Liga.

In Italy, there are also old interested parties, such as Napoli and Lazio. On the market, his value is reported at 18 million euros.
