Bolivia and Paraguay develop trade and industrial partnership

An agreement has been reached between the Bolivian-Paraguayan Binational Chamber and the Paraguayan Ministry of Industry and Commerce to advance industrial and commercial growth.

This collaboration was formalized during the 5th Trade Mission to Paraguay and involved over 25 corporations from both nations.

The agreement’s primary purpose is to encourage industrial and trade growth between Bolivia and Paraguay.

The agreement hopes to attract more investments and stimulate the regional economy by establishing streamlined procedures and dynamic strategies.

Signatories of the agreement were José Luis Camacho, president of the Bolivian-Paraguayan Binational Chamber, Paraguay’s Vice-Minister of Industry, Francisco Ruiz, and Vice-Minister of the Investment and Export Network (Rediex), Gilda Arréllaga.

Emphasizing the benefits of this partnership, Camacho pointed out that this cooperative framework aims to bolster industrial competitiveness, encourage innovation, and stimulate bilateral investment.

The partnership was deemed a success and hailed as a necessary step in strengthening the relationship between the two nations.

During the mission, several activities were conducted to help participants understand the Paraguayan business environment and its potential.

These activities included legal, tax, and immigration training provided by corporate specialists, business networking events, company visits, and participation in an international business roundtable to foster new business opportunities.
