TAAG increases flight frequency on Luanda-São Paulo route from August

The Angolan airline TAAG announced today that it would offer six weekly flights on the Luanda-São Paulo route, starting next August, with a Boeing 777 aircraft.

According to the Angolan flag carrier, the transatlantic link between Angola and Brazil has seen sustained traffic growth, mainly promoted by the recent strategic partnership (codeshare agreement) between TAAG and Gol.

The new flight will be added on Wednesdays, with overnight departures from the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport in Luanda.

“On this route, the average occupancy rate is 73%, which is very positive within the parameters of civil aviation.”

“Tickets can already be purchased through the usual channels, and special conditions are available for purchases made exclusively via Taag.com,” says the carrier.

For TAAG, more than a point-to-point connection, São Paulo and Luanda are “connection hubs” between Latin America, Africa, and Europe, with a growing flow of passengers, among tourists, families, and businesses, in transit to the various TAAG destinations.

The Angolan carrier “thus reinforces its commitment to improving customer service, providing families and the corporate segment with greater availability in connections to their preferred destinations,” the statement said.
