Mozambican government exempts 28 countries from tourism and business visas

The Mozambican government approved on Tuesday 14 a decree that exempts a list of 28 countries from the need for tourism and business visas when entering the country.

According to a statement from the Council of Ministers to which Forbes Lusophone Africa had access, the exemption will apply to visitors holding ordinary passports and allow a stay of 30 days, renewable for an additional 60 days.

"Travelers will be required to register on the e-visa platform at least 48 hours before travel and pay a processing fee of MZN650 (US$10.2)," the statement read.
