Background

The Série B league is Brazil’s second-tier football competition. At the end of each season, the top four teams earn promotion to the elite Série A league.

Vitória, a club with a storied past, has been a part of both Série A and B over different seasons.

Their ultimate goal for this season is to secure a spot in Série A. On the flip side, Guarani, another respected team, is striving to maintain its position in Série B.

The recent match was a pivotal moment in the season for both teams. While Vitória seeks to climb the ranks, Guarani is working hard to avoid relegation.

The outcome of this game has significant implications for both teams’ futures.
