“We are going to New York to present our investment partnership program, show the main investors the portfolio that we have and that should mobilize R$180 billion of private capital to the State in the next years”, highlighted Governor Tarcísio de Freitas.

“We will have a series of meetings with important investment funds, besides participating in some events with banks”, he added.

According to the government, the intention is to attract private investments.

“This is what will generate jobs for the people of São Paulo”, summarizes Tarcísio.

This will be the third international mission of the current administration – the previous ones occurred in January, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and in March, with visits to the UK, Spain, and France.

APPOINTMENTS IN THE US

On Wednesday (10), the governor will speak at a conference promoted by Itaú Bank with investors and chief executives of business groups in Latin America.

Tarcísio will attend a lunch with directors of Bank of America, the second largest banking group in the US.

The governor will also have a series of meetings with representatives of some of the most important investment groups in the global market, such as Blackrock, the Asian CIG – Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund – and Pátria Investimentos.

On Thursday (11), the governor will present at the GRI Latam Infra & Energy 2023 annual conference that brings together world leaders from the infrastructure and energy sectors.

Afterward, Tarcísio will have lunch with executives from Goldman Sachs, one of the world’s most traditional banking and investment groups, and meet with representatives from the investment groups Macquarie, based in Australia, and the American GQG.

On the last day in the US, Tarcísio will meet with the Florida governor, Ron DeSantis.

The governor’s objective is to know Florida’s successful policies of tax substitution as an incentive for industrial investments and incubation of startups, as informed by the government.
