São Paulo inflation slows down to 0.38% in the third forecast for May

The city of São Paulo presented inflation of 0.38% in the third quarter of May, according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) calculated by the Foundation Institute for Economic Research (Fipe).

In the reading for the same period in 2022, Fipe's IPC rose 0.76%.

In the immediately preceding period, the second forecast for May, the variation was 0.44%, according to Fipe.

Among the seven classes of expenses that compose the indicator, six decelerated concerning the previous week, and only one showed a higher variation.
