BALEIA ROOFTOP

Opened in November on the fourth floor of building B32 on Faria Lima Avenue, it occupies an area of 680 m² divided into five environments.

Four with glass enclosure and one outdoors.

Outside, facing the square in front of the building (and the metallic whale sculpture installed) is a garden with private wooden bungalows and tables covered with umbrellas.

Inside is the bar and the restaurant’s lounge – the first Mediterranean of the Corrientes 348 group (which already operates Dasian on the first floor of B32).

Chef Flávio Miyamura is in charge of the menu, which has options for appetizers, such as shrimp confit in olive oil with garlic chips, and dishes, such as risotto with tucupi and grilled crawfish.

Bartender Marco De La Rocha consulted for the drinks list.

MII ROOFTOP

Greek-inspired, the space, which opened in October, is the fifth restaurant of the gastronomic complex Vila Anália at Jardim Anália Franco.

It has two environments with furniture from Greece and a panel in honor of the sun made of wood decorated with 4,000 gold leaves.

To reach it, customers enter a glazed elevator that goes through the wine cellar – where there are, among the wines, Greek labels.

Outside is a lake with fish, straw mats, and palm trees around tables and benches.

Chef Antonio Maiolica’s menu highlights include salmon carpaccio with burrata, green apple, pink pepper, leaves, and fettuccine maremonti with lobster, mushrooms, and truffle.

The desserts, such as chocolate baklava with pistachio gelato and crunchy phyllo dough, are from chef-conféder Pedro Frade.

BARNÔ

With a retractable roof and a view to Ibirapuera Park, it started operating in October on the 17th floor of the Canopy by Hilton São Paulo Jardins.

The hotel occupies a residential building from the 1960s, which underwent a retrofit and today boasts a large mural on the side by artist Speto.

At Barnô, the skyline is an attraction that competes (or harmonizes) with the drinks list signed by Guilhotina, a bar known for its authorial high cocktails and that reached the 15th position in The World’s 50 Best Bars ranking in 2019.

The Crusher cocktail, for example, features brandy, aged rum, Amaro Lucano, vermouth, and Jamaican pepper tincture.

To go with it, a house-made charcuterie board served with pickled vegetables and other delicacies by Chef David Kasparian from Stella, the hotel’s restaurant.

BELAVISTA ROOFTOP POOL & BAR

The area of one of Rosewood’s pools, with panoramic city views, opened along with the hotel in early 2022, so it has just gone through its second summer.

The menu combines Mediterranean inspiration with local ingredients in dishes such as tartlets with figs, goat cheese, and jataí bee honey or Brazilian cheeses with pumpkin jam.

Among the drinking suggestions are champagne and drinks such as the Lillet Clericot, with Lillet Blanc, orange liqueur, strawberry, orange, pineapple, and soda Graviola with Sicilian lime.

DHOMUS TERRACE

Open since April 2022 on the rooftop of the Mediterranean restaurant of the same name on Amauri Street; it has an environment surrounded by greenery and rustic decoration reminiscent of Mykonos, Greece.

For the summer, Italian chef Leonardo Russi prepared refreshing raw recipes, such as scallops with kiwi, vanilla, and mint, and tuna tartar, as well as sandwiches, such as the steamed jackfruit with apple and celery mayonnaise.

They are served with drinks such as Boulevardier, Bellini, and Spritz.
