Brazil re-establishes itself as an international tourist destination after the pandemic

Brazil is once again consolidating its position as an international tourist destination after two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, with an increase in international flights of 355.36 percent in June compared to the same month last year, according to the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of International Tourism (Embratur).

Specifically, Brazil received 3,806 international flights last month, an increase of 7.29 percent over May. In the year-to-date, 84 more flights began operating, and 36 more frequencies were added.
