The storm is expected to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall to areas in Colima, Guerrero, Jalisco, and Michoacán.

Additionally, Colima, Jalisco, and Michoacán coastal regions may experience wind gusts of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour and waves measuring 1 to 3 meters in height.

The associated weather conditions could include intense precipitation, thunderstorms, strong winds, heavy rain, hail, as well as potential risks of landslides, increased river levels, stream overflows, and flooding in low-lying areas of the affected states.

The SMN and Mexican authorities have advised the public to pay attention to SMN warnings and follow the guidance provided by state authorities and Civil Protection.

According to the Colorado State University and the SMN, it is projected that the Pacific region will witness the development of 16 to 22 tropical cyclones during this season, while the Atlantic is expected to experience 10 to 16 cyclones.

The SMN also anticipates the occurrence of at least two highly intense hurricanes, ranging from category three to five.
