The world’s longest snack is from São Paulo with more than 350 meters

The world's longest snack is Brazilian, acknowledged by Guinness World Records, which publishes the Book of Records.

The sandwich - assembled to celebrate São Paulo's anniversary on January 25 - had its length certified at about 354 meters by Guinness evaluators.

Known internationally as "torpedo" or "submarine", the record holder was a row of several smaller sandwiches measuring 30 centimeters long.

Producing the mega snack took 1,180 "sandwiches" filled with bologna and cheese.

The job was done by Perdigão employees, who used the company's cold cuts.
