The Foreign Ministers of Ecuador, Juan Carlos Holguín, and Paraguay, Julio Arriola, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in New York (USA) to promote the “complementarity of their production chains.”
“Foreign Minister @juancaholguin and his Paraguayan counterpart Julio Arriola signed a memorandum of understanding to develop economic and trade relations between Paraguay and Ecuador,” according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility.

The Paraguayan Foreign Ministry shared on Twitter that “both countries will promote the complementarity of their production chains in the primary, industrial and services sectors.”
The head of Ecuador’s diplomacy is in New York ahead of the general debate of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, which will be held Sept. 20-26.
