This was announced by the Vice-President of Brazil, Geraldo Alckmin, during a visit to the Great Wall factory.

On this occasion, the Chinese company showed a midsize pickup half-discovered, confirming that it will be based on the Poer, but with the exception that it will be an unprecedented version globally.

We are talking about a hybrid variant of the well-known pickup, which will also sport a new look, a more sophisticated interior, and “many screens”.

The other model Great Wall will manufacture in Brazil is a seven-seat SUV.

It will also be based on the Poer pickup and have a beam chassis.

Like the pickup, it will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged combustion engine.

Great Wall aims to export its vehicles manufactured in Brazil to all Latin American countries.

It will modify the factory to expand the current production capacity from 20,000 to 100,000 units per year, resulting from an investment of US$2 billion over the next ten years.
