Petrobras achieves record production of S10 gasoline and diesel in June

Petrobras, a leading energy company, announced on July 11, 2023, that it achieved record-breaking monthly production levels for S10 gasoline and diesel in June.

The company produced an impressive 2.01 billion liters of gasoline, the highest volume since 2014.

Moreover, the production of S10 diesel reached 2.11 billion liters, surpassing the previous record set in May of this year.

The increased production was accompanied by a rise in sales, as reported by Petrobras.

In June, compared to the same period last year, gasoline sales saw a notable increase of 26%, S10 diesel sales rose by 2.9%, and aviation kerosene sales grew by 5.7%.

Petrobras also highlighted the success of its refineries, with the Total Utilization Factor (FUT) reaching 93% in the second quarter.

This represents the highest FUT since 2015.

The FUT takes into account the volume of oil processed and the operational capacity of the refineries, while considering equipment limits, safety requirements, and the quality of the derived products.

According to Petrobras, these results reflect the company’s investment in refining and its commitment to meeting commercial obligations with reliability, operational availability, and profitability.

The company’s strategy aims to ensure the satisfaction of domestic market demands.

Overall, Petrobras’ achievements in June demonstrate its dedication to meeting production targets and serving its customers effectively.
