A recent study conducted by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) has identified the 20 most innovative companies in Brazil.

The list includes renowned names such as Claro, iFood, and Hospital Albert Einstein.

The study assessed over 1,000 companies of various sizes and evaluated them based on management, marketing, processes, and products.

The companies executives were also interviewed during the research process.

The study does not rank the companies in order of innovation, but it highlights the finance & insurance and industry & oil sectors, each represented by four companies.

The healthcare sector follows closely with three companies, while food, telecom, information technology, and retail have two companies each.

André Miceli, CEO of the MIT Technology Review and coordinator of the survey, noted a decrease in the number of small and medium-sized companies among the winners, which may be attributed to a decline in venture capital.

The study aims to recognize companies’ innovation capabilities and prioritize those that have delivered significant projects in the past year.

The full list of innovative companies includes Algar Tech, Boston Scientific, Bradesco Seguros, Brasilprev, Braskem, Carrefour, Claro, Generali, Hilab, Albert Einstein Hospital, iFood, Lojas Renner, Mercado Bitcoin, Nestlé, Octadesk, Petrobras, Siemens, Vibra Energy, Vivo, and Wemobi.

The study highlights the importance of ongoing innovation and expects the ranking to see frequent changes as new companies deliver noteworthy projects and contribute to Brazil’s innovative landscape.
