At the same time that the supply of meat in the global market does not grow, Brazil should increase its exports of animal protein in 2023.
The projection is from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), which monitors information on the sector all over the planet.
For example, the supply of Brazilian beef in the foreign market should increase by about 4% in 2023.

If confirmed, the generated impulse will compensate for the 1% drop in exports from the rest of the globe, keeping supply practically the same as last year.
For chicken and pork proteins, the Brazilian performance forecast is even better.
The country’s shipments of these two segments may grow by 7% and 5%, respectively.
For the rest of the world, exports should fall by an average of 1% for chicken and 5% for pork.
Adding the two segments to the bovine one, the volume exported by all the countries around the globe should close at 36 million tonnes – practically the same volume as the previous year.
For this interval, the USDA estimates that Brazilian shipments will grow by almost 6%.
At the same time that the North American department highlights the growth of Brazilian meat exports, the agency cites the decline in the production of bovine protein in neighboring countries.
On the list is the reduction in shipments from Uruguay and Argentina.
