Brazil-Based Ride-Share User Drive Hits São Paulo Streets

Originating from Belo Horizonte, User Drive has launched in São Paulo, offering affordable rides and higher earnings for drivers.

Additionally, it focuses on enhanced safety with panic buttons.

CEO Marcos Fernandes invested R$3 million ($500k) in this expansion. The goal is to serve 25 nearby municipalities initially.

The company plans to reach Osasco, Guarulhos, and other cities by October’s end.

According to Fernandes, research drove the service’s design. They target both riders and drivers’ specific needs.

“Our service is by Brazilians for Brazilians,” he emphasizes.

One unique feature is direct payments to drivers. Fernandes explains, “Drivers buy a credit, and a small percentage gets deducted.”

Notably, drivers with branded cars get higher earnings. So far, 1,000 drivers and 500 passengers have joined.

Brazilians for Brazilans

Both drivers and riders can earn rewards for referrals. Users can also favorite their top-choice drivers. The company even gives prizes to high-performing drivers.

Safety is a priority. A 24/7 support center is available via a panic button. In emergencies, the center contacts nearby drivers and the police.

Furthermore, riders can share trips for added safety. The company contacts riders and drivers post-trip to assess the experience.

For female riders, User Drive offers a special service. Named User Woman, it features female drivers for increased safety.

Corporate clients aren’t left out. Special pricing and tailored services are available for companies.

Riders also get multiple ride options. Choices include economy, comfort, and even armored vehicles.

Plus, delivery and freight services are on offer.

The company aims for national and international growth. They use strict selection criteria for new drivers.

Initial operations began in Minas Gerais, extending to other parts of the region.
