(Sponsored) The Americas are essentially one landmass. Accordingly, we should remember that getting to and from North America isn’t actually that difficult.
Particularly with the rise of budget airlines, you can get to several major cities for a lot less than you might think.
And the trip is well worth the effort – the US, for example, holds natural, historic, and other wonders that everyone should see at least once.
Let’s take a look at what some of the hottest spots in the country are.
1. Las Vegas
A visit to Sin City definitely needs to be on everyone’s bucket list. Regardless of how much you win or lose, it is simply an experience that you need to have.
The glamor of the casinos, the grandeur of the Wonders of the World hotels, and the overall ambience make it a once-in-a-lifetime destination for everyone.
And if you’re a newlywed, there are plenty of things to do in Las Vegas for couples.
2. Acadia National Park
One of the country’s best National parks is located in Maine. Maine is a unique part of the US, with its combination of coastlines and other diverse landscapes.
The park is home to unique ecosystems, an interesting cultural history, and stunning beauty with its lighthouses dotted along the coast. It is the first national park that was established east of the Mississippi.
3. Theodore Roosevelt National Park
North Dakota is truly a world of its own. You can visit New York, Chicago, or LA and find many of the same features that you would get in other big cities.
But places like North Dakota are really where you can get a sense of American expansion. The park is where Roosevelt himself first pronounced that he would host a national park system.
And for good reason: it is home to vast canyons, colorful badlands, and fields where you will see bison and other exotic creatures roaming.
4. Shenandoah National Park
Shenandoah National Park in Virginia is a favorite among hikers. Nestled in the famed Blue Ridge Mountains, this natural paradise is just an hour away from the nation’s capital.
People enjoy a wide array of activities there – beyond hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and bird watching are all popular activities.
5. Antelope Canyon
If you’re a photography buff, Antelope Canyon in Arizona will be like a dream come true for you.
Its unusual sandstone walls have resulted in formations that stun, both in color and shape, as well as the haunting, beautiful shadows that they cast upon everything around them.
When you catch a glimpse of the light shining through at just the right angle, you will be perfectly poised to snap your Insta-worthy cover photo.
6. Joshua Tree National Park
California has much more to offer than just LA and Silicon Valley. It is home to NINE national parks.
While we could write a book about all of them, we will focus on just one of them here: Joshua Tree.
In this park, you will find not only large amounts of the eponymous tree, but a wide range of wildlife species, cacti, and other National wonders.
It is also said to be the best place in the country for stargazing.
7. Bonneville Salt Flats
If you are looking for an out-of-the-ordinary natural wonder to visit, you should check out the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.
Stretching out as far as the eye can see, you will find yourself enveloped in a sea of white that leads all the way across 30,000 acres and up to the Nevada border.
There, too, you can catch some stunning photography, particularly if you’re looking for selfies against a simple, beautiful backdrop.
Get that ticket, you won’t regret it
It might seem like a long haul all the way up to the States, but trust us: It’s worth it. Once you get a glimpse of all that the US has to offer, you will keep coming back for more, we promise.
