Brazilian Nubank and EBANX team up to expand NuPay for international purchases
Nubank and EBANX have announced a partnership to introduce NuPay as an alternative payment solution for international purchases.
NuPay, developed by Nubank, will now be integrated into EBANX’s platform, offering the service to over 1,600 global companies who can provide this payment option to their customers.
NuPay, available to more than 75 million Nubank customers in Brazil, is a debit and credit payment solution.
It allows users to securely make online purchases directly through the Nubank app without sharing their bank details with online stores.

The payment method offers the choice of cash payment through account debit or interest-free installments.
Although the purchases are charged to the customer’s invoice and utilize their credit limit, NuPay is not a credit or debit card payment.
For international purchases, customers have the option of installment plans that can extend up to 12 months.
