Iberia expands flights and upgrades aircraft in Brazil illustrating importance of this market

Iberia, the Spanish flagship carrier, is gearing up to strengthen its presence in Brazil. The carrier expands flights and upgrades aircraft in Brazil.

Starting in October, the airline plans to connect Madrid with major airports in Brazil more frequently.

This expansion illustrates the importance of the Brazilian market in the global aviation scenario and reflects growing ties between Spain and Brazil in terms of trade and tourism.

On October 29th, Iberia will introduce an additional weekly flight connecting Rio de Janeiro with Madrid, increasing the weekly frequency for passengers departing from Rio to four.

These flights will be serviced by the A330-200 aircraft, offering passengers a choice between Business and Economy class seating.

From São Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport, Iberia’s weekly flights to Madrid will increase from seven to ten by next March.

Interestingly, these flights offer travelers three service class options: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.

Catering to popular demand, the three new weekly flights on the São Paulo-Madrid route will be scheduled for nighttime.

Adding to the airline’s efforts to enhance its service, Iberia will introduce the A350 aircraft on the São Paulo-Madrid route.

This new addition will operate the three newly introduced weekly flights, while the existing seven weekly flights will continue to be serviced by the A330-300.

This decision underlines Iberia’s commitment to offering its customers state-of-the-art amenities and a superior flight experience on one of its most prominent international routes.
