Costa Rica's Tourism Institute (ICT) announced the conclusion of its Central Pacific cruise season with the docking of 263 ships, carrying 91,000 tourists.
This reaffirms Costa Rica's status as a prominent tourist destination.
From September 2022 to July 2023, the cruise season saw vessels arriving at five approved Pacific ports: Puntarenas, Caldera, Quepos, Golfito, and Playas del Coco.
Notably, 40% of the visiting vessels were from the expedition and luxury category.
