Tegucigalpa is gearing up for the first International Festival of Poetry, Song, and Narrative, titled "Tegus sí canta," with Cuba as the guest country.
The event will take place from July 4 to 8, bringing together writers from ten countries, according to festival director Karen Ayala.
Intellectuals from Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, the Netherlands, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Mexico will participate in the festival.
The event, sponsored by Editorial La Chifurnia and the Secretariat of Cultures and Arts, will have an educational and pedagogical focus.
The festival will also pay tribute to Honduran poet Livio Ramírez . . .
