Former Peruvian Prime Minister Betssy Chávez banned from leaving the country

The Peruvian Judiciary has issued this Thursday a 15-day prohibition to leave the country against former Prime Minister Betssy Chávez, investigated for alleged crimes of rebellion and conspiracy in the framework of the maneuver of former President Pedro Castillo for trying to dissolve the Congress and establish a government of exception.

The judicial resolution, signed by Supreme Judge Juan Carlos Checkley, has thus declared the Congress' petition well . . .
