Protesters in Chile beat up the president’s brother in the street
Local media reported Thursday that Simón Boric, the brother of Chilean President Gabriel Boric, was beaten during a student demonstration in downtown Santiago.

The pictures of the incident, posted by passers-by on social media, show that about ten students beat the journalist with fists and, at one point, even threw and kicked him to the ground.
Boric was taken to a medical center, and local media confirmed that he did not suffer severe injuries in the beating.
