A weekend of torrential rains and widespread flooding in Haiti has left at least 30 people dead, nine missing, and more than 13,300 homeless.
The government’s disaster management agency announced this on Monday (5).
At least 7,475 families have been affected by the storms with landslides, and at least 7,500 homes have been flooded in several departments.
The city of Léogâne, south of Port-au-Prince, was the hardest hit.
According to the authorities, at least 11 people were killed there.
