The President of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, appointed three new female ministers to his cabinet during a ceremony at the Colón Park of the Government House.
The President thanked the three outgoing ministers for their work and affirmed that “it is a very pleasant day because we are adding three valuable women to our Cabinet, who will have to continue with the task that those who preceded them have started”.
According to a press release from the Presidency, Fernández swore in the new Ministers of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Raquel Olmos (70); of Social Development, Victoria Tolosa Paz (49); and of Women, Gender, and Diversity, Ayelén Mazzina (32).

Members of the national cabinet, provincial governors, mayors, legislators, union representatives, social organizations, and the women’s movement were present.
Tolosa Paz, who replaces Juan Zabaleta, is a public accountant, while Olmos, who succeeds Claudio Moroni in the labor portfolio, was the current vice president of the Banco de Inversión y Comercio Exterior (BICE).
Mazzina, who replaces Elizabeth Gómez Alcorta, was Secretary of Women, Diversity, and Equality of the province of San Luis, informed the Presidency.
