Brazil: Two left-wing parties articulate federation to escape Lula’s party’s “orbit”

Two left-wing parties that integrate the base of support of the Presidential Palace have opened negotiations to form a block outside the orbit of the PT.

The Brazilian Socialist Party PSB and the Democratic Labour Party PDT are articulating a center-left federation to escape from what they call PT "hegemonism".

PT is Lula's party.
